The Festival provides a minimum of one coach per ensemble each day, and all participants will be coached by at least two different coaches during the Festival. Participants may also have the opportunity to play with one or more coaches at coaching sessions and at performances.
All coaching sessions at the Winter Chamber Heat and the Summer Chamber Music Festival are conducted by members of the San Diego Symphony and the University of San Diego music faculty. Participants at advanced musical levels may perform along with the coaches at the final concerts. New to the Summer Festival this year is the Viol Consort Initiative (VCI) with guest artist LISA TERRY of New York.
