Co-sponsored by the University of San Diego and FanFaire Foundation, the Summer Chamber Music Festival invites participants of all ages and musical levels to the beautiful University of San Diego campus for an intensive experience of chamber music making and performance. Individual participant and pre-formed ensembles are welcome. Auditing is available.
The week-long USD Summer Chamber Music Festival welcomes participants to come for a week of either full day, evenings only, or weekends only sessions. Participants under 15 attend only the morning and afternoon sessions during the week. Individuals with a pre-formed ensemble may request to play together in some sessions. Participants in the new Viol Consort Initiative (VCI) work with Lisa Terry and Angela Yeung every afternoon and evening during the week, with optional individual lessons (fee extra) during the morning.

Count me in for 2012! I am age 51 and began playing cello again in 2010. I studied in the 70′s with Mr Campbell and others in El Centro and Los Angeles until age 20. I’m grateful for music and cello back in my life and look forward to your next festival. When will the schedule be out for 2012? Thanks so much.
The 2012 schedule should be out, if not by the end of summer, then early in Fall 2011 .
