About the SOLOISTS:

Michael Chen and Adrian Liu are the Division I (age 11 and below) and Division II (ages 12- 14 years) winners, respectively of MTAC’s 2011 Concerto Competition. Michael and Adrian both love MATH and MUSIC!

About MTAC:

MTAC stands for the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Founded in 1897, it is a statewide organization of professional music teachers with many local branches. San Diego Branch has over 170 members situated throughout San Diego County. All are highly-qualified instrumental and voice teachers.

MTAC provides many competitive and non-competitive events each year for students at all levels, encompassing all styles of music. It offers anyone interested in the pursuit of a musical learning adventure – in any part of San Diego – access to highly-qualified teachers.
