SCIENCE & MUSIC at SDSF

FanFaire Foundation’s SCIENCE & MUSIC Series continues…

“ADVENTURES in SCIENCE & MUSIC 2.0″ will be the theme of FanFaire Foundation’s participation in the 2011 SAN DIEGO SCIENCE FESTIVAL.

When: Saturday 3:00 p.m. March 26, 2011
Where: PETCO Park in Downtown San Diego

Featured is a symphonic concert with a strong science flavor. The GREATER SAN DIEGO COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA, directed by Dr. ANGELA YEUNG will play music either inspired by scientific ideas or composed by artists who are trained in science as well.

Dr. Angela Yeung has a science background and many members of the orchestra have separate science-related careers –living proofs that SCIENCE & MUSIC not only co-exist but converge, exemplars of Einstein’s dictum that

“The greatest scientists are always artists as well.”
