About the SOLOISTS:

Michael Chen and Adrian Liu are the Division I (age 11 and below) and Division II (ages 12- 14 years) winners, respectively of MTAC’s 2011 Concerto Competition. Michael and Adrian both love SCIENCE, MATH and MUSIC and both are active members of FanFaire Foundation’s “KIDS Playing For KIDS” program.

About MTAC San Diego:

MTAC stands for the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Founded in 1897, it is a statewide organization of professional music teachers with many local branches. San Diego Branch has over 170 members situated throughout San Diego County. All are highly-qualified instrumental and voice teachers.

MTAC provides many competitive and non-competitive events each year for students at all levels, encompassing all styles of music. It offers anyone interested in the pursuit of a musical learning adventure – in any part of San Diego – access to highly-qualified teachers.
