FanFaire Foundation partners or co-sponsors with other community organizations in presenting events, among them:
Escondido Public Library and Friends of the Escondido Library: a continuing co-sponsorship of special events that began with the Orvieto Trio Piano Trio concert in August 2011 which launched FanFaire Foundations’ FREE FAMILY CONCERTS SERIES, followed in December 2011 with a Holiday Family Sing-Along. The first 2012 concert in the Series “The Harp and Alexandra Tibbitts” will be presented in February as part of the Library’s 2nd Saturday Concert Series;
Logan Heights Branch Library: a continuing partnership that began in December 2011 with the Holiday Family Sing-Along Concert continues into 2012 with “The Harp and Alexandra Tibbitts” solo recital. Also in February 2012, FanFaire Foundation, in cooperation with the San Diego Opera Education Department and the Library, launches its “Bring Kids to the Opera” with the participation of students from schools in Logan Heights. The Library co-presents with FanFaire Foundation a docent lecture on “Moby-Dick” in early February, which is open to Logan Heights students and their families, to be followed by student attendance at the opera’s final dress rehearsal prior to its West Coast premiere.
Museum of Making Music: co-sponsorship in August 2011 of the Orvieto Trio Piano Trio concert in Carlsbad, CA as part of the Foundation’s Free Family Concert Series;
Point Loma Credit Union (PLCU): a continuing partnership that began with the launching in October 2011 of FanFaire Foundation’s “Kids Playing for Kids“ program at a special event held at its the Carlsbad Branch, followed by a PLCU-sponsored community holiday events: Holiday Harp Music and a performance by “Kids Playing for Kids” team members at the PLCU Employment Appreciation Luncheon;
University of San Diego, College of Arts & Sciences: co-sponsorship in 2011 of the 4th Annual Winter Chamber Heat, a week-end of intense music learning and music-making, and the Sixth Summer Chamber Music Festival, a week of rigorous but fun coaching sessions and solo/ensemble concert performances.
