Inaugural Competition for Soloists
in FanFaire Foundation’s First Messiah Sing-Along Concert
The competition was held on November 13 and 14, 2010 at the French Parlor of the University of San Diego with Maestro Matthew Rowe and Dr. Angela Yeung as adjudicators.
The winners were:

Kara Masek, soprano
Ruth Kiefer, alto
Vincent Martin, bass
Erik Van Heyningen, bass
They were invited to sing solo arias at FanFaire Foundation’s First Annual Messiah Sing-Along Concert held on December 3, 2010 at the Neurosciences Institute Auditorium in La Jolla, CA.
The 2011 Soloists’ Competition will be held on November 12 and 13, 2011 at University of San Diego’s French Parlor. Application deadlines and other information to be announced later.
